I just found a VHS of the 2nd set from this show, that isn't circulated at all.

Subject: Looks Like Rain!

this show as a whole may have now been one of their greatest, but the one thing about this show that really stands out is a KILLER looks LL Rain. i would actually say the best looks like rain the Grateful Dead ever pulled off. listen to after the conventional verses when hes just doing his rap.. listen to all the emotion and how the whole audience claps as one. (one of those real Grateful Dead moments) another thing 2 look out for is the sound Weir makes during stella blue with a slide, giving it a very eerie feeling.... okay show, with a couple of great songs.. ill give it a 4

Subject: Not as bad as I remember....

While certainly not a stellar performance, listening to this show 20 years later I think it should be removed from my worst five shows attended list [list excludes '95 summer tour shows b/c they were all tough to handle- -so very sad]. Really think my issue with this one was the good first set song selection but an overall lack of energy paired with the really bad sound in the Civic Center. As for the second set, overplayed song selection till they broke out the Box of Rain encore. In any event, I kept coming back and there were plenty of highlights to more than compensate for the occasional off night.
